Behold! The Star Destroyer! This Imperial monster is over a foot long, and has more than three thousand pieces! Unfortunately, it is no longer in production, so it's rather difficult to find an inexpensive one for purchase, but it is an extremely detailed set. The angled panels are held in place by magnets, which can pose a problem from time to time, especially since the set itself is rather old. But this is one of those sets that doesn't lose its appeal with age! Lego has yet to release another star destroyer that is as incredible as this!

Here it is again! My second Imperial Star Destroyer! This ship's top and bottom are built using folding panels. The top opens to reveal Darth Vader, a Darth Sidious hologram, Storm Troopers, Royal Guards, and an escape pod! I'm not particularly proud of this set. The build is far from seamless, since it involves pieces resting on top of each other instead of being locked in place. The designers could have made the ship a bit easier on the eyes as well. A third Star Destroyer is still on the way! In the mean time, what do you think of this one?

R2D2, it IS you! This perky little astromec droid has made an appearance in all six Star Wars movies, and now makes a grand entrance on the Lego scene with this spectacular set! The build could get a tad tricky, especially with the internal components, but was still a lot of fun! The third leg retracts, the two outer legs move, the head rotates, and there are plenty of flip out tools hidden on R2. The set is incredible, and a must have for any collector! What are your thoughts on him?

Say hello to my little friend! This is an Imperial Star Destroyer. I have three Star Destroyers, this one being the smallest. Stay tuned to see the other two! This one was an easy build, but looks nice and smooth. It has a strange handle-like apparatus on the bottom to keep the nose up. I think it's a cute set. How about you?

Behold! The TIE Fighter! Arguably one of the most easily recognized fighters in the sci-fi genre, the TIE fighter has struck fear into the hearts of rebel fighter pilots throughout the Empire's reign over the galaxy. This Lego set does the ship justice, featuring an opening cockpit and flick-fire missiles. The set's construction is simple, but I find the design sleek and stylish. What do you think?

There are more accessories on this thing than there are options on a swiss army knife. Say hello to the Slave 1, the ship of the feared bounty hunter Boba Fett! This set features hidden, removable missiles, weapon storage crates, Han Solo in carbonate, rotating wings and cockpit, and a spring-loaded missile launcher! With the varying colors and crazy contraptions, this set was a blast to build! I love how the set looks, and not just because it's one of the most iconic ships in the star wars universe. I say it's a great set all around, definitely a thrill to own. What do you think?

That's no moon! It's the Death Star II! This monster of a lego set is massive, measuring in at twenty-three inches tall, with a radius of twenty inches! Despite its size, the set is actually reasonably light-weight. Half of the structure is hollow, and is just exterior plates. This set features the ready-to-fire, planet-busting super laser, and a mini super star destroyer to scale. The "under construction"portions of the set are actually duplicates of each other, and the panel designs can get pretty repetitive. These short-comings, however, are more than made up for by the aesthetic appeal of the finished product. This set is one of my most prized and memorable pieces. What do you think of it?
