That's no moon! It's the Death Star II! This monster of a lego set is massive, measuring in at twenty-three inches tall, with a radius of twenty inches! Despite its size, the set is actually reasonably light-weight. Half of the structure is hollow, and is just exterior plates. This set features the ready-to-fire, planet-busting super laser, and a mini super star destroyer to scale. The "under construction"portions of the set are actually duplicates of each other, and the panel designs can get pretty repetitive. These short-comings, however, are more than made up for by the aesthetic appeal of the finished product. This set is one of my most prized and memorable pieces. What do you think of it?
